Shattered Shores was built for the fans who never stopped feeling connected to the music that shaped them. Created by Whet Travel and born from years of Taking Back Emo events, it brings together live performances, immersive experiences, and a community that feels like home. This is more than a festival at sea. It is a place where old favorites become new memories, strangers become lifelong friends, and every day is filled with the moments that remind you why this music has always mattered.

Years in the making, Shattered Shores grew from fan favorite Taking Back Emo takeovers aboard Groove Cruise into an experience all its own. Designed exclusively for this community, it brings together live performances, artist-hosted experiences, late-night moments, and meaningful connections that continue long after returning to shore. You will sail aboard the brand-new Margaritaville at Sea Beachcomber, home to incredible venues and immersive spaces built for live music. With the community-first atmosphere Whet Travel is known for, Shattered Shores becomes something you simply cannot experience anywhere else.
Taking Back Emo is a fan-driven event brand built around the music, culture, and community that defined a generation of alternative fans. Known for high-energy events and curated experiences, Taking Back Emo brings audiences together through shared nostalgia, sing-along moments, and a deep connection to the music that shaped them. What started as a grassroots concept has grown into a recognized name within the live event space, creating environments where fans can relive the music they love while building new memories together.
